Hepta TechnologiesProfessionally I have specialized as a web developer expert in Joomla! and PrestaShop and I can speak WordPress and Laravel. I love Joomla! and I have been actively involved with the CMS since 2008 when together with Isidro Baquero we decided to start the Blog Gnumla.com (now offline :( ) where we wrote articles to help Spanish speakers to learn more about Joomla! As a developer, I was part of the team of the extension JEvents, Easy Layouts, and YourSites and I contribute with the projects whenever I can. I have my own Joomla! extensions that I offer through the site Hepta Extensions. I maintain two podcasts about Joomla!: MastermindWeb.es (in Spanish) and Hepta Extensions podcast (in English). I have recently written the book Developing Extensions for Joomla! 5, published by Packt.

Akeeba LtdI am a PHP developer from Athens, Greece. I've been publishing Joomla extensions since 2006. You probably know me as the author of Akeeba Backup and Admin Tools. I am happily married to a fellow geek and have a daughter. We also have two pet cats. Or the cats have three pet humans. Jury's out on that one. I came to the Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) back in the late 90s for the community and its core ideology of sharing knowledge and code. FOSS has enriched my life, it is providing me with my livelihood, it gave me some of my closest friends and helped me meet my better half and soulmate. I am trying to give back to the world by sharing my software and the things I learn.

Simplify Your WebI am a French-born freelancer established in New York, USA. I have been creating web sites since 1997, following the web standards and their evolution over the years.I have participated in building web applications in the companies I have been working for, from server and database development to user interface design. I am now fully committed to building high quality extensions for the Joomla! community as well as providing a Joomla-based web presence for my clients. My latest Joomla involvement At the beginning of 2017, I took over the Joomla! User Group of New-York City with Stewart Newfeld. Since April 2021, I have been helping Laura Gordon with the organization of Joomla Day USA, now a major Joomla yearly event in North America and beyond. I specifically work on the website and animate the Bugs and Fun workshop during the event. In September 2021, Yannick Gaultier, Eoin Oliver and I created the Joomla Extensions Developers user group on Facebook to bridge the gap between third party developers and the core Joomla team. In July 2022, I have taken the role of Release Manager with Shirielle Williams for the Joomla version 4.3, due April 2023. I am proud of my contribution to the community, and I made a new friend. These days, I am at the head of the Enhancement Development Team, help organize Pizza Bugs and Fun, and keep the Guided Tours' project alive with Shirielle, feature that was included in Joomla 4.3. Recently, I started working on J2Commerce (previously J2Store) with Adam Melcher.

WeeblrInitially trained as a mechanical engineer, I spent 20 years in a non-IT industry. I then started developing some open source web projects, mostly centered around SEO, including several Joomla! extensions. This was a hobby in 2006, but 3 years later, and to this date, it became my full time job. I run Weeblr, a small company handling development and support for our open source CMS plugins. Our main Joomla! extensions are - 4SEO, an all-in-one SEO extension - 4AI, the AI-assistant to generate text and images, titles, description or Twitter and LinkedIn posts - 4Podcast, to fully manage a Podcast inside your Joomla site - 4SEF to manage Joomla SEF URLs All these operates identically under Joomla 3 to 5 (without compatibility plugin) We also have a range of SEO-related free of charge products: 4Video to embed Youtube and Vimeo videos in an SEO-compatible way or SEOInfo, an SEO browser extension. A large part of my days is spent tracking every bit of SEO and marketing information available, experiment with it to decide what should and should not make it into our extensions.
