Alex has been developing for Joomla since 2008 with the company he founded, SourceCoast. Originally, a client-focused business creating custom add-ons, the company pivoted toward social networking products as that market was rapidly maturing.
In 2009, SourceCoast released the first version of JFBConnect, with basic authentication for Facebook. In the decade+ of development, JFBConnect has grown to support over a dozen social networks with deep-integration for everything from authentication, social posting, social widgets to meta tag management.
More recently, he co-founded JoomlaGears, an extension site focusing on products to improve customer experience on Joomla powered sites through deep analytics and improved shopping cart checkout flow.
