When a client asks for more than what a third-party extension can do, don’t disappoint your client. This session will show an approach to add custom features to third-party components without hacking code. Obviously custom features require some development – either by you, a staff member, or by outsourcing – but with Joomla and this approach, you can move past a component’s out-of-the-box limitations.
We will look at reasonable client requests that were satisfied through this approach and how each solution was put together. If you provide Joomla solutions, you will learn how you can meet these challenging requests, giving you a competitive edge.
