Dan Dascalescu is a Developer Advocate at Weaviate, the open source semantic search engine. Prior to Weaviate, he was a Developer Advocate at Google, a senior software engineer at Yahoo!, and founded several startups in fintech and edtech, as well as Blueseed, a project to host a visa-free startup incubator in the international waters near San Francisco. He is an accomplished public speaker, with interviews on BBC Radio, as well as talks given at Google, Stanford, MIT and The Economist events.
